You walk past a sign that reads, Kyra’s Secret Stables, hanging from an overhead archway. The arch way is light purple and the words are
an iridescent blue color. All around and further down the dirt path are trees in full bloom. There are white, pink and even
blue blossoms on all of the trees.
You
start walking down the path, looking at all the beautiful flowers. It seems so magical, with a little bit of mist hovering
around the tree tops and the path. Near the end of it there are four huge willow trees, two on each side of the path. There
long branches sway lightly in the breeze, as you walk past. At the every end of the trail, a small light blue and purple house
stands with a huge statue of a girl and four horses in front of it. You walk over to the huge ornament, it reads at the bottom,
Kyra and her four bonded, Bell, Stormy, Stetsen and Val. This group of five will never
be separated, no matter where they are. Neither distance, nor death can break the bonds of friendship and love. Rest in peace
Stormy and Stetsen.
You
wonder just who these people and horses are. Click! Click! You turn to see a pink haired girl close the house door. She is
wearing a light purple, almost white tank top and short skirt, with black flower trimming down the front and a black flower
necklace. She has a silver bracelet on each arm with a horse and two stones on wither side of it.
She
turns around and looks a little surprised to see you. Her eyes are bright blue, but they seem so friendly and warm. “Hello,
Welcome to Kyra’s Secret Stables. I am Kyra, nice to meet you,” she said in a friendly and cheerful voice.
You
state your name and ask what all goes on here, also what is the statue for. “The statue is of me and the four special
horses in my live. Two have past on, but I will never forget them,” she said as two tears run down her cheek. She wipes
that quickly away, “Sorry, I miss them dearly. The other two are alive and well, but live far away. The statue is a
memorial of our special group. I wear these two bracelets are a tribute, to the ones who are gone from this world. The gold
one with ruby stones is for Stormy, he was a chestnut. The other silver one with topaz stones is for Stetsen, he was buckskin
in color,” she said in a happier voice. Kyra turns too look at the statue and back at you. “This is my stable.
I breed, train and show my horses. Would you like to meet them?”
You
reply yes, and follow her around to the back of the house where the stable, paddocks and pastures are.
